I’m Ermina, and Tylixto was born from a simple but deeply felt need:

to eat well every day — with quality, Greek flavors, and genuine care.

Since I was young, I’ve believed that good food doesn’t need much. It only needs the right ingredients, fresh produce and people who truly care about what they do. Greek street food — our beloved tylixto — Όμως ένιωθα ότι του αξίζει περισσότερη προσοχή, περισσότερο σεβασμό. has always held a special place in our hearts.But I felt it deserved more attention, more respect. And in 2009, I decided to make that thought a reality.

Tylixto was created to prove that everyday food can be exceptional. That simplicity can have character. That pure flavor is the strongest flavor of all. Ότι η καθαρή γεύση είναι η πιο δυνατή γεύση. Guided by these principles, I choose Greek meats from trusted producers, we hand-cut our fries daily, and everything is cooked at the moment of the order. Nothing unnecessary. Just as I would do it at home — for my own people.

As a mother of four, I know well what it means to “eat right.”

In Vouliagmeni, Tylixto has found its most mature expression. With a sea view,grilled cuts of meat, bottled Greek wines, and a space that makes you feel comfortable from the first moment. Here, the Greek soul meets a more premium experience. Without formality. With authenticity.

And in Monastiraki, in the heart of Athens, we continue to share the same message: pure Greek flavor, made with respect for tradition.
I don’t just want people to come and eat. I want them to feel like guests. To leave a little happier than when they arrived.
